These are estimates from our published rate bands — updated August 2026 — not marketing numbers. Your exact figure depends on hours, inbound/outbound mix, and coverage windows; you get it in writing on the scope call.
The cost side uses the mid-point of our real published band for your industry: real estate, HVAC, and commercial cleaning callers run $850–$1,500 (£650–£1,200) per month; customer service and solar $850–$2,000 (£650–£1,550); roofing $2,000–$3,000 (£1,550–£2,350) because storm-surge scheduling and US evening coverage carry a heavier operational load. Every figure includes the agent, a team leader, QA with call recordings, and reporting — there is no separate management fee.
The in-house comparison defaults to a conservative fully-loaded cost — salary plus employer taxes, benefits, software, space, and the recruitment-and-ramp overhead most businesses forget to count. US teams typically land at $3,500–$5,500 per person; UK teams at £2,200–£3,200. Edit the field to your own number.
The missed-calls mode is for home-services businesses: it multiplies the calls that ring out by your average job value and close rate. It deliberately assumes only answered-enquiry close rates — not every missed call was a sale — so the result is a floor, not a fantasy.
A dedicated offshore caller with Speed Outsourcing costs $850–$3,000 (£650–£2,350) per month depending on service: real estate, HVAC, and cleaning run $850–$1,500, customer service $850–$2,000, and roofing $2,000–$3,000 — each all-inclusive of team leader, QA, recordings, and reporting. Full detail is on the pricing page.
A business missing 15 calls a week with a $1,200 average job and a 30% close rate is leaving roughly $23,000 a month on the table — the arithmetic is (missed calls × close rate × job value), and it compounds because unanswered callers ring your competitor next. Run your own numbers above.
The onshore defaults ($3,500–$5,500 US, £2,200–£3,200 UK fully loaded) and offshore ranges come from our Offshore Call Centre Rates Report 2026, which combines our own published pricing with market ranges observed across provider-published rates in mid-2026.
